Hi, I’m Ollie! I’m a very lovely, intelligent youngster looking for an active home to continue my training and have lots of adventures. I really need someone who has the time to spend teaching me. I am very affectionate and fancy myself as a bit of a lap dog. I really love meeting new people and other dogs when I'm out and about. I’m also a bit of an escape artist, I can open my crate and I can open doors!
Energy Requirements: This youngster is full of energy. He is used to 3 lead walks a day but really needs a bit more exercise now that he is a year old, and activities to use his brain.
Training: Ollie pulls on the lead and is full of energy. He has no recall so will need training in this area.
Visiting the vet: Ollie has had his healthcheck and is fit and well. He is a good weight for his age. Ollie will be adopted with a contract to be neutered once he is settled in his new home.
Travelling: travels well in the car on his harness.
Food: likes Iams with some wet Caesar food, and chews for a treat.
Sleep: sleeps well in his crate.
Behavioural issues: none, apart from being a big untrained pup!
Home needs: Ollie is a sibling of Chesney, they can be rehomed separately as long as there is another dog for company. If interested, they could be rehomed together but are currently in separate foster homes. They are bouncy youngsters in need of a home/s where there is a commitment to training, and good local dog walking opportunities.
Ongoing support: Springer Rescue for Scotland will be available for any support with your new dog and can offer behavioural support in case of any problems that may arise on adopting a dog. Ollie will be adopted with a contract to be neutered once he is settled in his new home.
Please do not express interest in Ollie if you are going on holiday in the next 4-6 weeks.
