Hi, my name is Molly, a young spaniel cross who needs a new home where I can continue my training. I adore everyone and everything, running and playing chase with my foster brothers and sister are my new favourite things! Whether sprawled at your feet or sharing (hogging) the couch I love to be near you. I enjoy helping round up the hens in my previous home and maybe I would like a job to do, I’m equally happy out and about and snuggled up with you at home. I’m being taught how to relax and apparently I’m doing really well, they keep telling me I’m clever, so I guess I must be.
I am in foster with some other spaniels and would maybe like another dog in my forever home, a larger calm dog to play with me and show me the ropes.
Energy Requirements: Molly currently enjoys two walks every day, off lead she is an absolute champ, she is now walking well on both a short and long lead.
Training: Ongoing training required around learning to keep her excitement under control when playing. She’s also working on learning how to relax at home through crate training, she adores the crate eats and sleeps there with no issues at all. Fully toilet trained and will ask when she needs to go out.
Visiting the vet: Molly loves going to the vet, she hasn’t had her first season yet so hasn’t been neutered.
Travelling: Travels well secured in the boot of the car, she waits patiently when the boot is opened she is unclipped ready to go for a nice walk, or zoomies at the dog park.
Food: Currently has grain free puppy kibble twice a day in a slow feeder. I love my food!
Sleep: Molly sleeps soundly in her crate all night in the living room.
Behavioural issues: She is a typical puppy and needs ongoing training around her boisterous play and general excitement.
Home needs: Molly needs a home that can commit to consistency in her training, a calm child free environment with someone at home most of the time.
Ongoing support: Springer Rescue for Scotland will provide ongoing behavioural support to Molly’s adopters.
