Hello!  I’m Leia, I’m a very friendly and lively young Cocker Spaniel. I am enjoying my time in foster, I have a lovely spaniel to play with and I’m getting lots of attention from my foster family.

I walk nicely on the lead, and my recall is not too bad unless I’m distracted by something to chase. I definitely need someone who will continue my training. I am a food thief and would counter surf given half a chance.

I am generally very fit and healthy, but I am a bit underweight at the moment and my foster parents are working on that.

I travel well in the car, I am used to being in a crate in the back.  I am quite active throughout the day, but I settle well in the evening, like to cuddle up on the sofa,  and I sleep all night.

I would be fine with older children. I would be fine with another friendly dog. I would probably chase cats, and I would definitely chase interesting things like squirrels. I probably could not be trusted around livestock.

I would like an active new home with someone around most of the time, who will continue to work with me on my training. I need plenty of exercise as well as mental stimulation.

Note: Leia will be rehomed with a contract to be neutered after her next season.
