Hello! I’m Bailey, and I’m a very lovely young Cocker Spaniel, taking it all in and enjoying being in foster and learning lots of new things. I’m told I have a lovely nature, and am very receptive to training. I am very friendly but can sometimes be a bit timid if people I don’t know come right up to me.

I’m staying with two Springer foster sisters at the moment and we get on really well. I am having lots of fun with them out on walks. I sometimes get a bit vocal when we’re playing. I do pull a bit on the lead but am getting better. My recall is quite good, and I’ve just learned “stay”.

I am good in the house, I don’t resource guard, don’t bark much unless I’m playing, don’t chew things I shouldn’t, but I do counter surf given half a chance.

I eat well, and I like a bedtime treat like a duck fillet, hairy rabbit lug, dental stick, even a crunchy carrot now and then. I sleep in my own bed all night.

I’m very good in the car and like being on the back seat clipped on my harness or in a travel crate in the back.

I’m very receptive and responsive to training and l am eager to please. My new owners will need to continue my training.

Note: Bailey needs an active home with someone around most of the time. He would be best with someone familiar with the breed. A rural or semi-rural location where he can enjoy regular active walks, and continue his training would be ideal. He would be fine with older children, and he would be fine with one or more other friendly dogs.
